Believe it or not..the ladies are back! After our hard-fought 8-5 win over Quick Feet 2 weeks ago in Den Haag, we beat UFC Groningen 5-0 last Saturday with 5-0; our third win in a row! We have now taken over second place in the play-offs, i.e. 7th overall, which is the best result we could achieve due to the arrangement of the play-offs.

After the long car drive to Groningen on Saturday morning, it took us some time to wake up properly. As a result the game started off somewhat uninspiring in the first period, but after some while the game got going and in the 14th minute we managed to pass the goalie and open the score. This goal remained the only one in the match for a very long time as the rest of the first, and the whole second period went by without any further goals on either side. Nevertheless, during the second period our opponents, who had only 7 players, started to get tired, while our own play just got more focused and balanced, so that we could take the upper hand in the game. It was only to wait for our second goal.

That second goal came soon into the third period, and, as it so often happens, it was shortly followed by three more goals from our side. This settled the end score at a nice 5-0 win for us, our third consecutive win in the play-offs. This win has put us in the highest position we were still able to achieve on the basis of our previous results. With one more game left, we will fight to defend this position and thereby to prove that the FB Agents Ladies are still a force to be reckoned with!
