Floorball Agents

FB Agents is an official independent sports club devoted to the marvelous sport of floorball. Agents mission is to promote and develop floorball in The Netherlands and especially in the Amsterdam area. The club was founded in the spring of 2004 by Ville Kulmala, Wouter Bakker and Cynthia Littooij.

The foundation of the FBA players was based on the existing Amsterdam small field team 'Absolut Lagom', but soon after the first rumors started to go around about FB Agents, more players found the club and started to train with the team. Today the club consists of 2 men teams, a ladies team and a small field mixed team.

Since 2008 the sport Floorball is one of the fastest growing sports in Europe and the Agents are getting more numerous as well. The clubs main-goal is to make Floorball accessible and fun for everyone interested, though we try to combine this with good fighting spirit in competitions to proof our worth.

Noticeable past results of the Agents:

  • 2005-2006 FB Agents men`s team win the Dutch National League
  • 2006 FB Agents men`s team played in the European Cup Qualifications in Denmark
  • 2006-2007 FB Agents men`s team win the Dutch National League (again!)
  • 2007 FB Agents men`s team played in the European Cup Qualifications in Norway
  • 2007 FB Agents ladies team wins the DUZZ tournament
  • 2009 FB Agents men`s team wins the Stimulo Open tournament
  • 2009-2010 FB Agents ladies team win the Dutch National League in the 2nd division
  • 2009-2010 FB Agents men`s team win the Dutch National League (3rd time!)
  • 2009-2010 FB Agents men`s team win the Dutch Cup (This means we got the DOUBLE this season! )
  • 2010 FB Agents ladies team wins the DUZZ tournament
  • 2010 FB Agents ladies team wins the Groningen Floorball Open tournament
  • 2010 FB Agents men`s team played in the European Cup Qualifications in Oslo, Norway (ended 2nd best club of Western Europe, best result for a dutch club ever)
  • 2010-2011 FB Agents ladies team win the Dutch National League (after winning the 2nd division last season, they won the 1st division this season!)
  • 2010-2011 FB Agents men`s team win the Dutch Cup (2nd time in a row! )
  • 2010-2011 FB Agents ladies team win the Dutch Cup (This means we got the DOUBLE this season! )

FB Agents also hosts and organizes a European wide tournament each summer called Amsterdamned. This is among the biggest open tournaments of Europe and guaranteed for a great weekend in Amsterdam for both dutch and foreign players. The tournament consists of around 30 teams divided over men and women and takes one weekend. For more information about this tournament, click the banner about Amsterdamned on this website.
